Last Day

After having fun in Dallas for the week we returned back to Houston to have some more fun with Uncle Spence and Aunt Amy for the weekend. We decided to go to their amazing water park in the community where they live, its awesome! I have to give a special thank you to Spencer and Amy for helping us have an amazing trip! You guys are the best, we miss and love you!

After the water park we then went downtown to a public park called Hermann Park. It was really neat. You could go paddle boat, fly kites, ride a train, walk through amazing gardens, etc. It was a lot of fun and very HOT!

Family Fun in Dallas/Fort Worth

So when Aaron and I planned this trip I was a little worried about how I was going to entertain Kieley for a week in a place I knew nothing about but then my Mom kindly reminded me that my cousin that I LOVE just moved to Fort Worth area, yay! 

We had a blast!  I can't thank my cousins Jamie and Michelle enough for all the fun Kieley and I had while Aaron was at his conference.  We even let our husbands in on the fun one night and had a dinner and played games.  Thank you sooo much!  We love and miss you guys!

A Dream in the Car

As we were driving up to Dallas we got off the highway to get gas and when we were pulling into the parking lot this is what we saw.. I guess it is true in Texas, Bigger is Better! ;)

Kieley has always been an absolute dream in the car.  I was a little worried this time for the drive from Houston to Dallas because we didn't bring the portable dvd player but Kieley proved me wrong once again.  She was either sleeping or happy and chatting away with Aaron and I.  This little girl is the best!

Park Day

Aaron's brother, Spencer, and his wife live in one of the most amazing communities I have ever seen.  When they get a grocery store and shopping center (there are plans to build both) they won't have to ever leave, everything will be right there.  Anyway, we took Kieley to one of their parks and it was awesome!  She loved it and even got Aaron and Spencer to play with her on the play ground. :)

Houston Aquarium

Our first day after arriving in Houston we decided to go downtown and check out the Aquarium.  I'm so glad we did because it was a lot of fun!

The Aquarium was awesome!  After you walked through and looked at all the cool fish there were rides for the kids outside.  Aaron and Kieley are in line waiting for the underground shark train.

When Kieley spotted the bubble machine.. she wanted down, asap!  Side story:  Uncle Spence won Mr. Tiger for Kieley by making a basketball shot, best $2 I ever spent! Thank you Uncle Spence.

Here we go...

We have been looking forward to our trip to Texas for a couple of months.  And just our luck Kieley got sick and threw up the day before we left. :(  I took her to the Dr. to make sure her ears were ok for flying and was relieved to hear they were good.  I was thinking it was going to be the worst flight ever but Kieley surprised us with a happy, fun, flight! :)

 The other day I was doing laundry and Kieley asked if she could watch Mickey Mouse so I turned on an episode of Mickey in my room and went to get the clothes out of the dryer and this is how I found her 3 minutes later.  She must have been exhausted from playing with her friends in the morning. :)  I love sleeping pictures!
