Kieley had her first experience with a "local" town parade and loved it! She couldn't believe all the candy that was being thrown to her, she kept looking back at me wondering when I was going to say, "that's enough candy", but it never happened to her surprise.. what a great day for Kieley :) She had an extra surprise when she noticed her cousin, Jaden, was part of the parade because his baseball team took first place, way to go Jaden! :)

Summer Fun

Thanks to my sister-in-laws sister I got a GREAT deal on season passes to Lagoon. The kids and I have had so much fun going with friends and family this summer. Here are a few pics from Kieley and Blake's first experience at Lagoon with their cousins. :)

The train ride was a favorite for Kieley and Makelle. :) PS.. I love my little princess expression in this picture.. she is too darn cute!

Parade of Homes

My younger brother, Michael, and his wife just moved into a new home that was also going to be featured in the Northern Utah Parade of Homes show. The only complication was they had a week for the time the house was completed to finish their yard. So it was a family effort to help him but we finished just in time. That's usually how my family's timing works. :) Blake and Kieley were such good kids while I was planting and digging, thank you little munchkins!

Blake's first taste of ice cream..

Uncle Darin has gotten Kieley hooked on ice cream sandwiches this summer. Blake finally noticed what his sister has been eating and decided it was time for a taste. Since he is almost 11 months I figured it can't hurt for him to have a taste of sweet, delicious ice cream. It was cute how at first Blakee threw a fit cause Kieley didn't want to share with him, then when Kieley felt bad for her little brother she came over to him and gave him a taste and he LOVED it! Its so fun to watch the brother and sister bonding between these two. Kieley is so caring and loving towards her little brother (most the time:). I hope they continue to become best of friends!

Playdate with Ellie and Bode

My cousin, Jared, married the most darling girl named Timberly and they have the two cutest kids, Ellie and Bode. And it just happens they are basically the same age as my two kids. Ellie is 10 months older than Kieley and Bode is 5 months older than Blake but they get along great! It has been so much fun hanging out and playing with Ellie and Bode this summer. On this particular day we got together to decorate cupcakes. The girls had so much fun! Their cute little aprons are from my best friend Kamee, she give Kieley and I matching ones for Christmas. She is the cutest "aunt" Kamee. :)

Teething :(

Blake is currently getting his top two teeth and he is NOT a happy camper when he wakes up. Still being the good baby he is.. he doesn't scream or cry he just gives me these looks when I don't pick him up immediately. Still so cute thou :)

Kieley loves animals so when Aunt Missy called and said she got a new dog Ki was thrilled! It was so cute Aunt Missy (Melissa) was torn between two names for their new dog but she knew Kieley would pick the right name for him so she waited to name him until Kieley came the next day, it made Kieley's day thank you Aunt Missy! So introducing Howie.. and it turns out Kieley did pick the perfect name, he definitely looks and acts like a Howie. :)

Princess Fun

While Aunt Melissa had to go to Laurels Camp in St. George, the kids and I got to stay and play with the cousins. :) It is so fun to watch these girls get together and play. Kieley LoVeS her cousins so much! Thank you for all the fun Alexis, Makelle, Jaden and Syndi, we love you lots!

10 months!

My baby boy is 10 months old! Where has the time gone? He has been such a good baby from day one. He is so sweet, calm, loves to smile, loves to laugh, loves to play and watch his sister. Aaron and I feel so blessed to have this little man in our family. We love you lots Blakee!

Look at this handsome boy.. I just want to kiss those cheeks all day. Oh wait, I do! ;)

Can't wait to move this little guy into his "big" boy car seat.. he really is getting too tall for his "rock a bye" car seat as Kieley calls it. :)

Swim Lessons...

Kieley had an amazing swim teacher this year and I have seen Kieley improve leaps and bounds in 2 weeks! I'm so impressed, Kieley has always been a little timid with water and to see her jump in and be so excited for lessons every day has been super fun. At the end the teacher came up to me and told me how fun it was to have Kieley in her class and how polite she was... she said she had never had anyone Kieley's age refer to her as Miss teacher every time she had a question or an answer, she loved it! :)
