Kieleys 3rd Birthday!

Our beautiful birthday girl with her cake..in my defense it started out straight??
Our little princess is 3, I can't believe it! She wanted to have a "Tea Party" this year for her birthday. It was a lot of fun to plan.. Grandma S made a beautiful princess dress for her tea party and I found the most darling tea set that she can pass down to her daughter or daughters. ;) Kieley has been the most amazing little girl since the day she was born. She was originally due on Dec 27 (Aaron's birthday) but I was induced on the 19th and she arrived the morning of the 21st..it was a loong 48 hours! However, in the end we welcomed the most beautiful, perfect little princess! We love you lots Kieley, I hope you had a great birthday!

We played pin the "sticker" on the tea pot.. I ran out of time to make the tea pot lids..oops!
Time for presents.. I love her expression on her face when she opened the gift with all the Disney princesses. :)

Happy Birthday Princess Kieley!!

Dance Class

Kieley loves to sing and dance around the house. So I called to see when she could start dance class and since Kieley was so close to turning three they said she could start right away, yay! Kieley has loved every minute of dance class... her teachers name is Miss Michelle and all the girls love her, she is so fun and energetic like them how could they not? I'm having so much fun watching my little dancer learn.. and not to brag but she seems to be a natural :)

Fun little suprises from Kieley

Kieley is so smart, fun, loving and sooo creative. I walked away to go change Blake's diaper and came back into the family room to discover her "birds nest" as she called it.. she told me it was for her friends "the birds" and then said, "mom everyone needs a home"..well of course, you are correct little princess. :) hehe! She is the best entertainment I could ask for and I love that she is always making new surprises for me everyday, love you princess!

Weekend Get-a-Away

Daddy and Kieley in front of the most beautiful Christmas tree before we ate our favorite restaurant.
We are spoiled living so close to San Diego. It is honestly one of our favorite places to visit so we take advantage when we can and we decided this weekend worked out perfect. Luckily we have such great kids in the car.. making traveling so much better. :)
Baby Blake chillin' on the bed watching sports with his Daddy. :)
The next morning as we were walking to our car we got to see a Navy ship shipping out to sea.. the coolest part is how the sailors line the boat. Click the picture below to see..I think its amazing. So grateful for the men and women willing to serve our country.

Baby Blake = 3 months

I seriously cannot believe how fast timing is flying bye.. our little guy is 3 months old! He has been such an amazing baby. He is so calm, sweet, always smiling, loves to sleep and loves watching his big sister! Not to mention he is the cutest baby boy.. I love those big eyes and pouty lips. :) Ps.. I also love that he sucks his thumb, however, Dentist daddy isn't too crazy about that habit. :)
Thank you Uncle Ryan and Aunt Melissa for the U of U pj's...red does look good on him. Uncle Darin I still need the navy blue to compare it too...hehe! :)

Weekend in Utah

While we were home we had a quick birthday celebration for me.. you can tell how excited I was to turn 31 this year..hehe! :) Sorry for the o'natural look..
I always enjoy eating at Olive Garden with my mom, it's a tradition and this time my older brother Ryan joined us with his little girl Makelle.
It was quick trip home but we still had some fun with our families. I don't have pictures of Aaron's golf time with his dad and brother but he had fun too! :)
My beautiful mom giving Blake a bottle.. I love it when grandma wants to take over and give me a break :)
Me and my beautiful little girls
Uncle Ryan lives on the golf course so of course he had to buy a golf cart to ride around in...Kieley was so excited to go on her first golf cart ride. :) I'm sure Aaron will make sure it won't be her last either.. hehe!

Halloween = Birthday for me!

This year it was so fun to see Kieley get excited to dress up for Halloween. We started a month in advance looking for her princess costume. I asked her which princess she wanted to be and she insisted it had to be Cinderella. The cute thing was it take a couple days and several websites to get the "sparkly" dress she wanted... and even though it was the most expensive dress (she has my genes :) it was worth every penny to see her smile when it arrived. I love having kids to share the excitement of holidays with, it almost made me forget I was turning 31 :(.
Daddy with Mr. Lion and pouting Cinderella :)
Now she is excited.. I just told her we were going to truck or treat at the church parking lot :)

Kieley and her friends after trunk or treat.. Candy and children = smiles! (most the time)

Funeral Weekend

My Moms family - 9 children

My Grandma Dupre passed away on Oct 8th after battling with Alzheimers for over 10 years. It was a really hard weekend because she was my first grandparent to pass away and she was so amazing! I can honestly say I never remember hearing my grandma raise her voice or treat anyone harsh or mean.. she was the most unselfish and giving person I've been blessed to know in my life. She was not only extremely beautiful on the outside but the inside was even more beautiful. She will be missed but I know we will see her again. :)
We went and ate at my Uncle Joe's house after the services and here are the kids waiting patiently for the food.
Aaron and Blake resting in the air conditioning together..my boys, I love them!

Grandma S comes into town.. yay!

Aaron's Mom came to visit and meet her new grandson and we enjoyed every minute. I wish we I would have had my camera all week, but here are a few pictures of Grandma with her grand children. Funny story: Kieley was going swimming to our community pool with Grandma and Grandma had suggested that Kieley bring a ball to the pool to play with and when grandma pointed out which ball they should take Kieley gave her a funny looked and then said, "GRANDMA this ball has holes in it, it won't float in the water!"... we were so stunned that she was absolutely correct and that she was only 2 1/2 and correcting us..hehe! Then again that has always been the story with Princess Kieley, she has always been well above average with everything! :) We love you Kieley!
Grandma with baby Blake
I love newborn movements in their sleep... so precious!

Labor Day Weekend

First stop was the beach. Darin took us to a beautiful private beach only the locals know about, it was awesome!

We had a fun Labor Day Weekend! My little brother flew into California to meet us for some fun and to meet his new nephew. We started the weekend at the beach, then had a BBQ at Uncle Jeans and finished it at Disneyland. Baby Blake was such a good baby it was amazing and Princess Kieley has so much fun with Uncle Darin. Aaron and I are still adjusting to life with two little ones but its going well. :)
Kieley was in trouble.. I love the look on her face, such a cutie even when she is naughty! :)
Baby Blake having fun in the sun with a nap :)

This is a picture of my Uncle Jeans backyard, its beautiful! Above is a picture from left of my Uncle Jean, Uncle Alex and my Aunt Leah (Uncle Jeans wife). My uncles are my moms younger brothers.. growing up they were my favorite uncles and still are.. they are always having fun, I love it!
Next stop on the itinerary was Disneyland! This is a picture of Kieley on the bus ride from the parking to the amusement park... she made me giggle.

I love Blake's face in this picture... baby's expressions are so sweet.
Kieley was stung by a bee for the first time riding the merry go around.. poor little girl :(
