Mini Me In Training

                              Tom and Kieley

                 Karen, Colleen, Kieley and me!

I finally took Kieley into my office to meet my friends at work.  I feel so bad because they have been wanting to meet her since before she was born, we anxiously chatted what Kieley would be like all throughout my pregnancy, and she is now 6 months old!  Colleen knew how nervous I was about my Mom not living close by so as I was approaching my due date she gave me her home phone number and her cell number just in case Aaron or I needed her at anytime.  She is so sweet!  I'm so lucky to have such great friends at work! Who knows, maybe one day Kieley will follow in her Mommy's footsteps and be a Regional Manager at Wells Fargo?! ;)

6 Month Dr. Appointment!

Kieley will be six months on Saturday so we went to her fun Dr. appointment today. :)  She weighed 16lbs 15 oz and was 26 inches!!  The Dr. said she is growing "beautifully".  He was amazed with how flexible she is and as he was saying that Kieley brought her little toes to her mouth and starting sucking them, it was a cute moment.  I can't believe in another six months our precious little girl will be a year!!!!

Kieley & Dawson's First Time Swimming!

Kieley and Dawson before their first time swimming! :)

Kieley and Dawson went swimming for the first time Tuesday!
It was so fun to see the two babies in their swim suites with their little rolls. :)
Dawson was so relaxed in the pool, he almost fell asleep, it was so cute.
Kieley enjoyed it but she seemed cold since the wind was blowing outside! Though the pool was heated :) I still took Kieley out early and changed her in to her little cover up.  She was so content playing in her stroller next to her daddy.
Thanks for coming over RaQuelle, Sienna and Dawson.  We had lots of fun!!

Aaron was studying for a quiz! "Next to a pool with the sun, that's my kind of studying!"

                        Bri and Dawson chillin

Kieley was so tired after all her fun!!

Yum Yum!!

Kieley had rice cereal for the first time this week.  It was so cute to watch her expressions as she tasted it for the first time.  Most of it came back out of her mouth but it was still fun feeding her for the first time. :)
                          Getting ready to eat

Kieley's first taste of the rice cereal

                         No more Mom!!

                            Beer Cheese??!!!

                      What a kodak moment :)

                       YAYY.. for more cheese!!

We had our first adventures with Aunt Bri this past weekend.  Since my sister and I love to shop we decided to go to one of our great outlet malls in Wisconsin.  We had lots of fun and found some great deals!
On our way home we stopped by the "famous" Mars Cheese Castle.  It was interesting to see all the different kinds of cheese. :)

Happy Father's Day

Daddy's Girl

She has your nose
She has your hair
In her innocent eyes I see you there

She's Daddy's Girl
It's plain to see
In her eyes you're a hero
And always will be

What did we ever do
Before our baby
Our old life seems so lonely

Our whole world has changed
She's melted our hearts
I wish she would stay little
So we never part

Yes, she'll grow up
And go her own way
But forever in our hearts
Our beautiful girl will stay

-By Dawn-

Happy Father's Day Aaron!  I couldn't have asked for a better father for our beautiful little girl!  You're the best.. We love you lots!

Your Girls :)

Hoooray for Aunt Bri!

                  Kieley LOVES her Auntie Bri!
Auntie Bri really really loves her Kieley! :)

My little sister Brigitte FINALLY arrived! After a long, long layover/delay in Denver and scary turbulent flight, she arrived at 1:30 A.M. Sunday night! (she was originally scheduled to arrive at 10:00 P.M.)  I'm so glad she is here for a MONTH, YAY!!  Even though we are 10 years apart you would never know it because she and I are always talking, playing, and shopping together every chance we get. :)  I'm so glad I begged my Mom for a little sister.  She is truly my best friend and I can't wait for our adventures to come this month. :)

Bye Bye Felix!

                            Felix the Cat!
                Kieley saying good-bye to Felix

Yesterday was a sad day.  We had to say good-bye to one of Kieley's favorite toys, Felix the Cat.  Unfortunately he was found in the garage hanging by one of the cement polls next to the elevator.  I had dropped it some how in-between the trip from the car to the elevator, and it looked like he had been run over. I don't think I'll ever get him clean enough to feel comfortable with Kieley putting him in her mouth. :(  Poor Felix he was a good toy.. a little freaky looking but a good toy.  Rest in peace Felix! :)

Golf Course or Lake??

The view of the damage from our apartment.
What WAS a golf course behind our apartment. :)
                A BEAUTIFUL Wisconsin sunset  :)
Another picture Bri took from our balcony

One of my many reasons to start a blog was to use it like a journal and keep track of all the fun and crazy things in our life. Now that I learned you can print your blogs into a book I'm even more excited!
So I thought I would document our excitement this past weekend.  Tornado sirens, flash flooding, high winds, etc.  You name it, we had it. :)  It started last Friday when I woke up that morning and watched the weather they were calling for severe thunderstorms but because I have such a weather conscious family (Dad and brothers) they called and told me it was going to be a crazy day.  Needless to say they were correct.  That afternoon we had our first TORNADO WARNING for Milwaukee county flashing across the T.V. I was NOT excited about that because I'm a bit of a "worrier" and I started to get more and more concerned about Kieley and getting her things ready to run to the garage (basement) if we needed too.  Not to mention we live on the 3rd floor of our building.  I was so relieved about ten minutes later when Aaron walked through the door.  He finished early at the clinic, yay!  Anyway, later that evening we met up with our friends, Travis and RaQuelle Willey, for a movie and Travis told us how they made everyone including the patients go to the basement of the Dental School too, scary!  Moving on to Saturday, it was equally crazy!  I for some reason wasn't as nervous because Aaron was home with me so when the sirens started going off for the Tornado warnings again and the weather man said he hadn't seen weather like this in the 11 YEARS of his career here, I wasn't as "scared" but the weather was amazing to watch from our apartment.  It got really dark and started raining so hard so fast and the thunder and lighting was so LOUD I felt liking hiding behind the couch like I did when I was a little girl.:)  The funniest thing was Kieley LOVED watching the rain and the lightning.  It didn't scare her at all.. I know she is still a baby and doesn't understand much but when I went to put her in her car seat to get ready to go to the basement she got mad at me and started to cry.  She wanted me to stay holding her in front of the window watching the crazy weather. :)  She definitely gets the adventurous side from her Dad.  Anyway, after watching our BBQ get pushed by the wind to the other side of our deck I started to freak out and told Aaron it's time to go to the basement.  He insisted it wasn't necessary yet..hehe yeah right!  Anyway, we lived and we are doing great!
I've decided Wisconsin is going to show me the worst weather it has this last year so I NEVER want to come back to visit. :)  On a happier note I thought I would include some pictures of a beautiful Wisconsin sunset from last night.  (P.S.  Aunt Bri took these pictures)

Trip to Utah!

We just got back from our trip to Utah.  We had so much fun! I wish we could have stayed longer than the four days we were there.  We miss being around our family and friends! The main reason we went out there was my little sister, Brigitte, (the baby of the family) graduated from High School. YAY!  Congratulations Bri :)  We love you!  Thank you to both Grandparents for spoiling us with good food and lots of love!!

Aunt Missy, Aaron and baby Kieley.

Kieley loved all the attention she got as we traveled to Utah.  The ladies behind the ticket counter gave Kieley her first pair of wings.  It was so cute!

Uncle Aaron is the favorite!  Every time I would see Aaron our nieces (Alexis, Makelle) and nephew (Jaden) were playing with him.  So cute!  What happened to Aunt Koko?? :)

My handsome husband Aaron and beautiful daughter Kieley in front of my old High School.

Kieley and I were waiting for graduation to start.

My beautiful sister Bri, baby Kieley, and me!

Aunt Melissa, Uncle Ryan, and cousin Makelle

The newly engaged couple.  Congratulations Michael and Whitney!!

Whitney's ring.. all 1.7 carats in the center!!!!  Bling Bling :)

I love moments like this... in the morning when Kieley wakes up I put her in the bed with Aaron and she always snuggles up to him.  It melts my heart!  Aaron's sunburn from golfing isn't cute though..ouch! :)

Bri recovering after getting home at 6 in the morning after graduation!

Kieley loves to go shopping with Grandma Mellott! She makes the funniest faces, it makes me giggle.

She also loved the dog we found in the store. :)

Uncle Mike's first time holding baby Kieley!  Mike is usually petrified of holding babies but Aunt Whitney has cured him of that.. thank you Whitney!

Makelle loved Kieley it was so cute!!

We love playing games with Aaron's family so while we played Kieley watched us from her car seat.  It was pretty funny she would get excited with  us. :)

                       Grandpa Mellott, Bri and Whitney

Kieley loved the attention from her Uncles.
