The night before Kieley got sick, I knew she didn't look well :(
To say I had a Happy Valentines Day would be a lie.. While the kids and I were in Utah visiting they caught the infamous "RSV" virus and it was horrible! I started going to the Dr's office on Monday because Kieley got sick over the weekend and was running a fever. When I left the office on Monday I was told it was the flu and it would run its course and she should feel better in a few days. Well, by Wednesday she wasn't doing any better actually worse and now Blake had started on the same virus, so back to the Dr. I went and once again I was told not to worry and just treat the symptoms. My little girl was not feeling well and I was so frustrated and felt that they weren't understanding my concerns. I knew it was much more than the flu. Friday rolls around and now Kieley won't move and is pretty much lethargic, Blake looks like he is struggle to breath in the tub. My Mom and I decided we were going to back to the Dr. office. I forgot to mention i had taken Blake in the day before on Thursday and still just told its the flu. Well, when we walked in on Friday the after hours nurse took one look at Kieley as we were checking in and asked to take her oxygen immediately just by looking at her.. thank goodness for that nurse because that's when they discovered her oxygen was at 87%, its dangerous for children to be below 90, and that night she was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and dehydration all due to RSV. We brought Blake in as well and he was admitted also.. to have two kids in the hospital in different rooms right next to each other was over whelming but thanks to Aaron and I's awesome family members we got through it. We are so thankful for our two little ones and especially for their health. This is the first time they have ever been seriously sick and it made me realized its not having the biggest home or the nicest car that matters.. two healthy, happy kids is all Aaron and I need to be happy. So glad you are both better, we love you tons Kieley and Blake!

I hate this story. I felt so much for you during that whole time!
Brian had RSV...it is horrible HORRIBLE. But the best part of the story is they recovered. :) Each year they will suffer an adverse reaction because of it, unfortunately. Brian usually has 1-2 chest x-rays each winter because of susceptibility. BUT because you are aware and the Dr.'s are aware it is easy peasy lemon squeazy to get through :)
