Road Trip

Kansas City skyline
Aaron, Kieley and I took a little road trip to Kansas City, MO for Western Dental School boards.  It was a 9 1/2 hour drive with all our stops.  Kieley was amazing!  She never cried or complained once, but Aaron and I cried almost the whole way ..hehe "who knew"? I was Aaron's patient the second day of boards and had my mouth open from 9 a.m. until noon while he worked on my awesome cavity.  Every time he completed a process I had to go stand in line and get it checked by the "grading Dr's".  It was a long process.  If that doesn't say "I love you" I don't know what does. :)  My Mom flew in to watch Kieley during those hours and Kieley LOVED every minute with Grandma.  They had so much fun together it was cute!  I really loved Kansas City it was an awesome place and we had a lot of fun with Grandma.  The best news is we got Aaron's results this week and he passed!  Which I never doubted for one minute. :)  Great job honey!

A beautiful fountain near the "plaza" in Kansas City.
I really loved the entrance to this hotel.. the picture doesn't do it justice.
Grandma with little Miss Kieley admiring the singing man.  Kieley could have stayed there all night if we let her.. she loves to sing and dance. :)
Family Photo
Mommy and her little Princess. (No smiles were available that night :)
I really liked this fountain it reminded me of the one at Caesars Place in Vegas.
Kieley is starting to want to be more independent and Mommy is having a hard time letting her baby girl grow up..these pictures are the perfect example.  Mommy wants to feed her..below, Kieley wants to feed herself. :)

My two beautiful girls. :)  This was before we dropped my Mom off at the airport.. Kieley cried for 5 mins until we distracted her with some dance music.  She loves her "Mamma"!
Somewhere between Kansas City and Iowa..I had to have a picture. :)

Seems like you guys had a fun trip, minus the long drive. Love that casino name too! So fun to hang out with your Mom too, lucky

So, I'm slowly trying to catch up with all my blog reading. Something about that family pic of you guys and then the one of you wanting to feed Kieley just made my heart squeeze - I miss you guys!
