Mountains

My little brother, Darin, loves to go on scenic drives.  So one weekend while Aaron was gone supervising our movers in WI Kieley, my Mom, and I joined him.  It was a BEAUTIFUL afternoon up Little Cottonwood canyon.  The mountains were amazing!  I didn't realize how much I missed seeing them for the past 4 years in the midwest. We had so much fun!  Thanks D love ya!

My best friend, Amanda, had a baby boy on June 16, 2009 and I was so excited I was in town to meet this little guy!  He is so adorable/handsome/beautiful! (if you can say that about a boy)  Congratulations Ty, Amanda and Senika!  :)

Flossing?

I introduced Kieley to floss this summer hoping it would calm her down because I didn't have any snacks and she was not a happy camper on one of my mall adventures.  Turns out she LoVeD it, crazy huh!  I think it was more the minty taste of the floss but she would actually run the floss back and forth through her teeth.  Her dad must be a Dentist. ;)

I know to some this might be a funny post but it's more for me and proof to my Mom I wasn't the one introducing her to donuts!  Growing up my Mom was BIG on fruits and vegetables and still is however, she has a BIG sweet tooth as well.  Under the advice of my mother I have been trying to hold off introducing too many sweets to Kieley and donuts was one of them.  Well, long story short my Mom loved getting Kieley when she woke up in the morning while we were staying with her and letting me sleep in (so nice).  One particular morning I heard them giggling downstairs only to find them both eating their donuts!  Silly girls I caught you. :) 

FYI - Kieley had a bad summer for bumps on her forehead as you can tell.. so sad!

Jaden's Baptism

Our nephew, Jaden, got baptized while we were home.  I can't believe he is 8 yrs old!  I remember holding him at the hospital right after he was born and now he plays competition soccer and every other sport.  He actually is so smart he goes to a gifted school for kids like him to challenge him more in academics.  We are so proud of you Jaden.  We love you lots!

Happy 4th of July

Our Fourth of July was a little scattered this year.  Aaron went with his family up to Island Park, MT for a little fishing excursion over the holiday.  Kieley and I chose to stay behind and celebrate because I didn't think Kieley would enjoy sitting on a boat all day fishing?? We did miss having Aaron around to celebrate with but my little brother Darin came with us to Park City to enjoy the festivites. :)  Thanks Darin we had lots of fun with you!
